เมื่อสร้างกลุ่มย่อยขึ้นมา สามารถกำหนดบทบาทให้กับสมาชิกที่เพิ่มเข้ามาได้ใน 3 หมวดหมู่ (Admin, Manager และ Agent) ซึ่งการตั้งค่านี้เป็นการกำหนดสิทธิ์การใช้งานของสมาขิกแต่ละคนว่าสามารถเข้าถึงข้อมูลใน Channel ต่าง ๆ ได้มากน้อยเพียงใด
นอกจากคุยงานในกลุ่มย่อยแล้ว ยังสามารถส่งข้อความหาสมาชิกในทีมได้โดยตรง ผ่าน Direct Message ด้วย หากต้องการพูดคุยส่วนตัวหรือไม่ต้องการให้ผู้อื่นเห็นข้อความสนทนา ซึ่งวิธีนี้เป็นการแชตที่ง่าย รวดเร็ว และไม่ต้องออกจากแพลตฟอร์มแชตของ FoxConnect ด้วย
